POSITION: ALLOCATION INTERN, CELINE KOREA

contract period: 1-YEAR CONTRACT (MINIMUM 6-MONTHS OF CONTRACT DEPENDING ON THE SCHOOL SYSTEM)

YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT

As an Allocation Intern, you will report directly to the Distribution Planning Manager and be supporting distribution planning across Korea. You will be the privileged contact point for inquiries from the Retail Store related to Stock and order management and working very closely with merchandising and logistic teams.

This role is an opportunity for a motivated individual to utilize his or her business and planning support skills to deliver valuable operational support. This role requires a results-oriented self-starter with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.

 

 

Your impact

Stock Management

• Liaise with Retail Stores as the contact for stock availability and create the orders for the local warehouse to send the stock to the stores and meet customer satisfaction
• Balance and manage the stock for Retail Stores to have a well-balanced stock situation at each of the Point of Sale
• Manage stock returns based on store team’s requests and local merchandising alignment
• Follow up fulfillment rates based on target stock / setup stock to ensure timely deliveries
• Sales inventory and data extraction to update the reporting files and dashboards
   

Continuous Improvement

• Support Logistic team by dedicatedly identify process improvement points and drives for a smoother order fulfilment process
• Analyze stock status from a rational point of view and suggest continuous improvements for a better process
• Work in a commercial and strategic way with both local and central teams to ensure the best outcomes for the business

 

 

keys for success

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Prospective Graduate
• Student who can work full-time for at least 6 months or 1 year

Competencies:

• Strong analytical skills
• Team player with communicational skills
• Excel skills mandatory (VBA is a plus)

 

Languages: Business level English and fluent in Korean
