Established in 2021, Brookfield Properties Logistics Korea (“BPLK”) is an operating company for Brookfield Property Group in Korea, especially engaged in the greenfield logistics warehouse projects, driven by the BPG’s strong initiatives to expand its logistics asset class in Korea BPLK consists of market leading professionals and has proven track records of full-cycle logistics warehouse development, ranging from land sourcing, design, financing, investment, construction management, leasing and operation & management.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role presents an opportunity to be part of a team committed to expanding Brookfield’s Logistics Property platform in Korea. You will be assisting with originating, underwriting, and executing value-oriented ground-up full-cycle developments, with some occasions of forward purchase and hard asset transactions. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Origination & Execution
- Assist with company-wide investment and development initiatives in line with the overarching Brookfield
- investment strategy both within the existing portfolio and through acquisition opportunities
- Support day-to-day management of transactions and potential pipeline deals, including investment, design, permit, construction management, financing, leasing, etc.
- Ensure various financial analysis for logistics center development, forward purchase, hard asset, and scenario analysis related to potential acquisitions Partake in various due diligence, including legal, financial, market, physical, environmental, tax, etc.
- Assist to prepare Investment Committee memo for various potential acquisition opportunities
- Assist with the preparation of presentations to the senior management team and overseas team
- Conduct market research including emerging trends in the real estate logistics sector, rent and sales comparison
- Prepare relevant documentation for group communication and other ad-hoc requests
Other – BPLK office support
- Support general administrative work and ad-hoc requests

- Ability to work independently and proactively to identify and advance transactions
- Strategic and long-term thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skill
- Ability to think laterally for the benefit of the division and company as a whole
- Presents strategic ideas related to group’s deals and transactions
- Team-oriented; excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop collaborative relationships at all levels in the organization
- Superior skills in Microsoft word, power point, excel, etc.
- Strong documentation skills in both English and Korean
- Strong technical skills including:
- strong modelling / financial analysis (proficiency in excel)
- attention to detail
- complete understanding of assigned deals
- clear verbal communication in both English and Korean
- succinct written communication for bid and investment business case
