Field Application Engineer
<Responsibilities>
- Troubleshoot and resolve system application issues based on customer feedback, perform timely follow-ups, and monitor to ensure effective problem resolution.
- Collaborate with regional business teams and HQ engineering teams to devise, design, and implement appropriate installation layouts at customer sites.
- Uphold optimal product operating conditions to identify and rectify any technological challenges in installed application systems, whether on-site or remote.
- Undertake on-site and off-site engineering activities in line with defined instructions and procedures while demonstrating the initiative to improve the procedures proactively, ensuring project deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Deliver technical training to both the internal business team and external partners to enhance product understanding and utilization.
- Proactively and regularly check customers, projects, and sites and conduct necessary inspections.
<Qualifications>
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field or equivalent work experience.
- Robust problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering issues.
- A high degree of initiative for self-guided learning and research to enhance product and solution performance.
- Willingness and preparedness to travel up to 50% of the time. Note that some significant projects may require continuous on-site support for several weeks.
- Excellent communication skills to ensure the clear exchange of technical information with customers, business teams, and engineering teams across various locations.
<Preferences>
- Experience in IT and network systems.
- Familiarity with embedded computing environments.
- Knowledge of or experience with ROS (Robot Operating System)
Product Specialist
<Responsibilities>
- Test and evaluate LiDARs from various manufacturers to understand their capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses.
- Determine the most suitable LiDAR and computing devices for our software based on performance, compatibility, and scalability needs.
- Develop comprehensive reports on tested hardware, highlighting their specifications, advantages, disadvantages, and recommended use cases.
- Stay updated with advancements from hardware manufacturers, understanding their updates and relaying pertinent information to the product and engineering teams.
- Establish and promote hardware integration guidelines and best practices within the company.
<Qualifications>
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate technical hardware specifications against software requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively with software developers, product managers, and external hardware vendors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter with a passion for continuous learning
<Preferences>
- Knowledge of or experience with ROS (Robot Operating System)
- Demonstrated experience in testing and reporting on hardware components.
- Familiarity with 3D computer vision software
- Hands-on experience with LiDAR technology and various computing devices.
Software Engineer - Backend
<Responsibilities>
- Design and develop robust software components and scripts to enable efficient integration of Seoul Robotics’ products with various client systems.
- Develop and implement testing strategies for integration components, ensuring functionality, performance, and stability.
- Identify and address software vulnerabilities and bugs, providing timely fixes.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation related to integration procedures and best practices.
- Customize Seoul Robotics’ software to cater to specific client requirements, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility.
<Qualifications>
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficient in back-end languages, including Python and Go
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Familiar with containerization
<Preferences>
- Proven experience with software integration, preferably with middleware products.
- Experience in CI/CD
