Job description

 

An opportunity exists for Equity Sales Trader to join the Institutional Equity team based in Korea. The role requires candidates to establish, maintain and grow strong relationship with current institutional clients by implementing trading strategies, trade execution and marketing the firm’s equity trading service to achieve incremental revenue.

 

Job opening position : Institutional Equity Sales Trader (Junior or Entry Level)

Start date : ASAP (exact date TBD)

Employment Type : Permanent Position

Positions open : 1

Working Hours : 8 hours per day (excluding 1 hour for lunch time) / Up to 52 hours per week

Salary : It is in accordance with the Company’s rule.

Key responsibilities

 

Primary responsibility of Equity Sales Trader will be providing analysis of market conditions by gathering key data, analyzing trends, creating reports, and offering comprehensive evaluations to meet clientele’s objectives. Sales trader will create new methods of providing valuable information to clients; communicate and provide market trends, liquidity opportunities, portfolio reviews, assessment of stock price fluctuations / macro / technical events affecting the market. Sales trader not only monitor market information and action during the day, but also implements client relationship management – conducts client visits, establish and maintain relationship and networks with internal and external clients across the globe.

 

Desired qualification & skill-set

 

The role is largely self-driven / self-managed with minimal supervision on a day to day basis. Genuine interest in financial markets, economics and corporate finance is a must-have. Candidates are to possess a high degree of commitment, motivation, professionalism, and integrity. Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and communication skills are required; the role involves intensive use of concepts in field of statistics, economics, finance, accounting. Candidates should have an aptitude for technology, advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office.

 

Candidates are not required to have an active trading experience on an equity desk. Desired candidates are expected to have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognized university.

 

Special skill required: Fluent English
