Position: Freelance Korean to/from English Translator
Location: Work from Home
Editage, the flagship brand of CACTUS, is looking for talented linguists to work with us on a freelance basis. To qualify, you must have technical expertise in your field. Experience working in a foreign-language setting will be preferred. Essentially, your work will involve translating an academic research paper from the original language to native language.
Job responsibilities
• Accurately convey the meaning of the source text
• Research legal, technical, and scientific phraseology to find the most appropriate terms
• Produce a grammatically correct final version
Qualifications and prerequisites
Applicants must meet any one of the following criteria:
1. A degree in Translation or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution
2. A graduate (or higher) degree in any other field from a recognized institution of higher education plus two years of comprehensive professional experience in translation
3. Five years of comprehensive professional experience in translation
