Join our Real Assets division focusing specifically on the Macquarie Korea Infrastructure Fund series (MKIF), a leading infrastructure fund listed on the Korean Exchange.
The Macquarie Korea Infrastructure Fund was established in 2002 with a mandate to invest in infrastructure sectors as defined under the Korean Public Private Partnership Act including roads, railways, ports, regulated utilities, engery etc. MKIF invests in infrastructure assets through equity and debt and is focused on generating profits from its investments and distributing these profits to MKIF’s shareholders.

What role will you play?
During this internship, you will work alongside with business leaders, learn on the job, and make a difference by working on critical projects. You will have the opportunity to be engaged in various facets of the fund, including the review and execution of investment opportunities, financial analysis and modelling, and preparation of presentation materials. You will also be responsible for supporting the acquisition activities of the business and assisting with operational and portfolio management work.
What you offer
- Undergraduate or post-graduate with relevant degree in business, economics, engineering or finance who can commit full-time from Aug/Sep 2024 for 6 months
- Have a basic understanding of financial concepts
- Good analytical and quantitative skills and a good understanding of financial modelling
- Ability to multitask and meet challenging deadlines
- Fluency in English and Korean is essential for the role for stakeholder management.
