We are looking for a Business Development Consultant specialized in the Korean market who will play a crucial role in our expansion into the Korean software market. This individual will leverage their expertise and network to provide insights, develop proposals, and establish strong business relationships with potential partners in Korea. 

This is NOT a full-time role. This role requires availability on a per-need basis of approximately 20 hours a week. Only apply if you’re prepared for the zero-hour commute and the thought of collaborating with colleagues from around the globe excites you!

The skills and traits we’re looking for:

• Fluency in Korean and English, both written and verbal.
• A minimum of 4 years of proven experience in business development, preferably in the software or technology sector.
• Established network within the Korean software or technology industry.
• Strong understanding of the Korean business culture and market dynamics.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Stable internet connection and home computer.

What you will do:

• Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and challenges in the Korean software industry.
• Develop strategic plans for entering and establishing a presence in the Korean market.
• Create tailored proposals and service offerings to meet the needs of Korean software companies.
• Utilize existing networks and build new connections with potential clients and partners in Korea.
• Coordinate with our software development and marketing teams to ensure alignment with market needs.
• Facilitate communication and project collaboration between our team and Korean companies.
• Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas.
