Senior Market Research Associate, Business Relationship Management, Korea
Business Relationship Management team is currently seeking a Senior Market Research Associate based out of our Korea office.
The fixed-term contract role is based within the BRM team and will support cross sector relationship for Korea as well as Mongolia. This position will report directly to the Country Head Korea.
It is a close team with eight staff working across operations, credit rating analysis and business development.

We’ll Count on You To:
- Conduct regular meetings with issuers, bankers and other market participants with the goal of raising Fitch’s profile and generating new business
- Support APAC Investor Development initiatives
- Develop close working relationship with analytical team
- Coordinate sponsored conferences / events
- Liaise with media team and local press contacts
- Prepare plans and strategies to generate business for Fitch and raise Fitch’s profile in the market
- Generate monthly activity status report
- Maintain files in accordance with internal policies in relation to meetings, fee letters and external correspondence
What You Need to Have:
- A minimum of 2-3 years relevant marketing or relationship management experience in debt capital markets or banking/financial services sector
- Fluent in both verbal and written English and Korean
- Persuasively present Fitch’s analytical products and services through written and personal interactions with issuers and bankers
- A proven ability to persuade and negotiate effectively
- Ability to map out and build relationship with targeted organizations
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Team oriented, with ability to effectively build relationships both externally and internally
What Would Make You Stand Out:
- Existing connections with senior decision-makers and key internal stakeholders in issuers and investors organizations
- Experience working in an international organization
- Experience in Bloomberg, Reuters and BondWare
