Founded in 2012, Crescendo Equity Partners (“Crescendo”) is a technology sector-focused private equity firm sponsored by Peter Thiel, a technology entrepreneur and investor. The firm specializes in buyout and growth capital opportunities in mid-cap technology companies in Korea or with strong nexus with Korea.

 

Crescendo seeks to hire an Intern with a strong background in finance and a degree in business, economics, or applied science.  The program will start in early March 2024 and last for 3 months.

 

Job Description (Client Solutions Intern / in-person / 3 months)

 

1.  Position Description

‒     Fund Document Preparation:

Collaborate with senior team members to draft and finalize fund-related documents, including Private Placement Memoranda (PPMs) and investor proposals.

Ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Review and update existing fund documents as needed.

 

‒    Investor Presentations:

Work closely with the client solutions team to create engaging and informative presentations for potential investors.

Develop content that highlights the fund’s investment strategy, track record, team expertise, and competitive advantages.

Incorporate visual aids, charts, and graphs to enhance clarity and impact.

 

‒    Data Analysis and Reporting:

Analyze fund performance data, investment metrics, and financial statements.

Generate reports and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.

 

 

2. Qualifications

‒       Excellent working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

‒       Proficiency in spoken and written English and Korean

‒       Understanding of accounting, business, and finance
