Job Summary

Partner Success Intern will work closely with the Partner Success Manager (PSM) to implement and improve multiple operational issues that our retail Partners face and drive performance improvement with strong ownership and partnership. Great organisational and communication skills are key in this role as you will be working across teams to support all areas of the Ocado Smart Platform.

The successful candidate will demonstrate native-level fluency in both English and Korean. Some of the job duties will include translation and interpretation between the PSM, who is a British national, and local clients who are native Korean speakers.

While we maintain an office in Seoul, occasional trips to the client’s operational sites (retail stores or warehouses) may be necessary. This is a hands-on role and the expectation is to work mostly in person. It is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to develop a broad range of skills used in grocery ecommerce operations, have exposure to the client-facing environment, whilst gaining an excellent understanding of the technologies behind our e-commerce, logistics and supply chain solution.

Accountabilities

• Primary local support and assistant for the PSM who is new to Korean 

• Help the PSM understand the local retail and ecommerce landscape for maximum impact

• Translating documents and interpreting for the PSM during meetings or visits to retail sites or warehouses

• Preparing training materials for successful deployments and operational go lives for OSP features and products, ensuring Partners are prepared and ready

• Coordinating with Ocado teams to ensure Partners receive the knowledge and information required for successful utilisation of OSP 

• Supporting process improvements for Partner OSP operations and onsite Ocado teams

Minimum:

• Native speaker level of both English and Korean languages fluency in both written and verbal communications

• College-level education in business administration, industrial engineering, or operations study or equivalent practical experience

• Basic commercial awareness

• Strong analytical prowess 

• Comfortable communicating with people with different perspectives

• Self-motivated with an ability to deliver to deadlines 

• Highly organised and resilient with an eye for detail

Preferred but not must (in addition to minimum)

• Full current driving licence

• Experience in technology solutions or operational environment
