Job description

 

An opportunity exists for a Research analyst Intern to join the Equity Research team based in Korea. The role requires candidates to support the research analysts in financial analysis & modeling, database management, industry research, and client presentations, as mandated by the research analysts.

 

 

Job opening position : Research Analyst Intern in Equity Research Division

Place of work : 15Fl S-Tower, 82 Saemunan-ro Jongno-gu, Seoul 03185, Korea

 

Start date : Mid-March 2023 (exact date TBD)

Contract term : Internship (3 months)

Positions open : 1

Working Hours : 8 hours per day (excluding 1 hour for lunch time) / Up to 52 hours per week Salary : 월 1,800,000 원(세전) / 4대보험

Key responsibilities

 

Primary responsibility of Research Analyst Intern (RA) will be to independently support our research analysts across Equity Research team in Korea Branch. RAs will spend considerable time with their research analysts on analysis of specific stocks, topical research themes, building and maintaining industry database / valuation models & financial forecast. RAs will work in a team dedicated to producing high quality equity research; get access to variety of equity research applications and data sources to support the research ideas.

 

Desired qualification & skill-set

 

The role is largely self-driven / self-managed with minimal supervision on a day to day basis. Genuine interest in financial markets, economics and corporate finance is a must-have. Candidates are to possess a high degree of commitment, motivation, professionalism, integrity. Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and communication skills are required; the role involves intensive use of concepts in field of statistics, economics, finance, accounting. Candidates should have proficiency / working knowledge in Microsoft applications and an aptitude for technology.

 

Special skill required: Fluent English
