Investment Team Intern (program for full-time offer base)

 

Job Overview

An intern for Centroid's Investment Team will be integrally involved with all aspects of the private equity investment process, including evaluating potential investments; participating due diligence process and developing materials for structuring and closing transactions; monitoring and implementing improvements at portfolio companies; and supporting interactions with the firm's investors, clients, and limited partners.

 

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on targeted industries for investment purposes.
• Perform valuation analyses of prospective investment opportunities under consideration, including the assessment of financial risks.
• Compare a company's financial data with other companies of the same industry, size, and location to forecast industry trends.
• Design and develop quantitative models to assess the economic performance of targeted companies.
• Prepare written analyses and evaluations of investment opportunities for use by the internal committee and/or to be presented to potential investors.

 

Basic Qualifications

• Able to commit to a full-time internship for 6 months
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Korean and English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated to work proactively on tasks with high-level quality standard

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in M&A investment banking or corporate finance accounting within the following entities: an investment bank, a lead advisory boutique, or M&A departments of accounting/consulting firms.
• Relevant qualifications such as KICPA, USCPA, CFA, and FRM memberships would be advantageous.
