-  Eco Green Holdings: Control consolidation building an integrated waste management platform in Korea covering the full spectrum of waste treatment from incineration to landfill, and subsequent sale to a global private equity investor

-  Kakao Entertainment: Growth investment into the formation and aggregation of Korea’s largest entertainment company with businesses encompassing music creation and streaming, video-on-demand, web-comics, drama/movie production and talent management

-  Sunsea Parking: Growth investment into China’s leading parking management services provider

-  Kakao Piccoma: Growth investment into Japan’s largest mobile content platform providing web comics

Anchor Equity Partner is currently looking for Research Analyst(s) (“RA”) to join the team in Seoul office.

 

RA Program Description and Primary Responsibilities:

Program expected to last approximately 3 – 6 months (extension negotiable on a case by case basis). Successful candidates with exceptional performance during the RA program may be considered for a full-time analyst position

The RA(s) will have a unique opportunity to work with highly seasoned and successful investment professionals in the Asian private equity industry and will support the team in various stages of private equity investments such as:

-  Industry and Corporate Studies: Identify potential investment opportunities through a rigorous screening and research process and brief the team

-  Financial Analysis: Develop company valuations and create / analyze financial models

-  Due Diligence: Conduct in-depth analysis of target companies

 

Qualifications:

• Strong passion for corporate investing and desire to learn operational value-add
• History of outstanding academic achievement
• Fluency in English and Korean is a must, both written and verbal
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills supported by good reasoning in formulating investment and problem solving views
• Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and handle multiple assignments effectively
• Strong team orientation and communication skills to work effectively with any team member
• High level of integrity, professionalism, maturity, confidence and judgment
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Prior internship experience in private equity investing, general investment banking or consulting background can help but is not required
