Job Summary

GLG’s Data Analyst Intern role in the Client Solutions Operations is an exciting opportunity for fresh graduates and employees with less than 1 year of experience looking to pursue a career in research, consulting, or the financial services sector. The internship is structured to develop your data organization, communication, and teamwork skills, and broaden your industry knowledge while working in a fast-growing global firm. Data Analyst interns are responsible for collecting data from external databases and process into a uniform structure. Must also be able to practice data validation and calculation to verify the accuracy of data.

Main responsibilities include the following:

- Collect data from external databases, process into a uniform structure, and input into our system.

- Aggregate data and filter or categorize according to requirements.

- Verify the accuracy of data through channels like official websites and GLG’s internal systems.

- Perform simple processing or calculation of data according to requirements.

An Ideal applicant should have the following attributes:

- Understand/verify information about domestic industry/company.

- Proficiency (oral and written) in English & Korean.

- Proficient in Office software like Excel/Word and the use of basic formulas such as VLOOKUP.

- Patience and attention to detail

- The role requires an individual to commit to a minimum 3-month full-time internship and to start as soon as possible

- Nice to have : knowledge of Python/SQL.
