Description

eMoldino is looking for a Data Scientist Intern to help process advanced analytics on our platform. You will work closely with the AI/ML Team and across functional teams to accomplish diverse business objectives. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of statistics, mathematics, and data science programming languages (e.g., SQL, R, Python).

Your primary focus will be to process and develop algorithm models to drive business value for our users. We are looking for someone who can come in and make an impact through hands-on learning experience as part of the AI/ML Team, working with our experienced software engineers.

 

Responsibilities

Below are some of the responsibilities a data scientist is expected to assume in their positions:

• Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques
• Build predictive models and machine learning algorithms
• Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
• Processing, cleaning, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
• Analyze existing data to develop metrics and trends to enhance knowledge and capture value of data
• Present information using data visualization technique
• Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams

 

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant experience
• 2+ years of programming language such as SQL, Python, or R
• Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis
• Advanced pattern recognition and predictive modeling experience
• Strong communication skills to explain complex ideas in a way that is easy to understand

 

Hiring Conditions

• Duration: 3 Months. If qualified, a full-time position may be offered after the internship period.
• Work Hours: 09:00~18:00 (5 days)
• Location: 15F Seoul Square, 416, Hangang-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul
