Job Description

 

You will support the Fixed Income Sales business, particularly the Korean Sales team, on the trading floor based in Hong Kong focusing on vanilla and derivatives products. This position is ideal for candidates with aptitude to progress into an independent Fixed Income Sales.

 

The role will be assisting the sales team in developing pipelines, reporting, building relationships and to provide backup coverage, before moving into a coverage role if proven successful.

 

Role Prerequisites

 

• Final year student graduating in Dec 2024 or June 2025
• Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Science, Engineering or other quant focus degree is an advantage
• An expected degree minimum of a 2:1 or equivalent
• Postgraduate Finance related studies not required but will be an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to understand client needs and provide product information timely
• Strong networking and relationship building skills
• Relevant fixed income sales internship experience will be an advantage
• Fluency in English (IELTS score of 7.5 or above); and Korean is required.
