BASIC FUNCTION:
Support client service and relationship management efforts focused on institutional clients located in Korea for all of New York Life Investments and its boutiques.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support all institutional business’ relationship management, client service, client relationship management and activities in Korea; provide support to New York Life Investments and its boutiques in identifying client’s needs and investment solutions and strategies (with the Head of the Institutional Business, Head of General Account Investment Management and/or the CEOs of the investment boutiques); and contribute to new product development.
Research market trends, analyze and take action on opportunities, threats, and potential forces impacting the business including competitive landscape, pricing and investor appetite.
Works closely with boutique management, portfolio management, product specialists, etc. to coordinate relationship management and related activities for large and complex accounts.
Support and implement optimal client experiences including measuring impact of research, presentation, reporting and other business-related deliverables. Survey new and existing client satisfaction.
NON-ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Education: BA/BS degree or the equivalent; MBA or CFA desired.
2. Experience: 2~4 years’ experience in business development and/or investor relations within the financial services or investment management arena, ideally in Korea.
3. Generic Skills: Excellent communication skills, oral and written fluency with English and Korean.
