Job Description

Mizuho Securities Asia is looking for a Graduate Debt Capital Markets (DCM) Analyst based in Seoul, Korea. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of deal origination and execution which includes the following:

• Support the origination and execution of international debt capital markets transactions out of Korea
• Prepare of pitch books, roadshow materials to support client coverage
• Become a key person behind the execution process including roadshows, completion of due diligence, negotiation of legal documentation, bookbuilding, pricing and closing/settlement
• Collect and consolidate market data and information, and draft periodic market reports
• Build and maintain relationships with Coverage Bankers, Debt Syndicate, Fixed Income Sales & Trading and Legal teams
• Support the team’s business development initiatives by cultivating new clients and other strategic initiatives
   

Role Prerequisites

• Final year student graduating in December 2023 or June 2024
• Business, Finance, Economics, Science, Engineering or other quant focus degree required
• Fluency in English and Korean
• Possess a good understanding of and passionate about Debt Capital Markets/ Credit Markets
• Articulate, strong communicator, and can write and speak fluently in English and Korean
• Diligent, strong work ethic and possesses an entrepreneurial and team mindset
• Japanese language skill is an advantage
