Job Description: As Application Software Lead at BatterMachine, you will oversee and guide the entire software development lifecycle. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our application software solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with our business goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

•       Lead the design and implementation of software applications, ensuring architectural integrity and scalability.

•       Guide the team in developing and deploying applications on cloud platforms (Azure).

•       Ensure application security, compliance, and effective integration with other systems and cloud-based services.

•       Manage full-stack development efforts and provide technical leadership in all aspects of development.

•       Drive innovation and stay current with the latest technology trends, cloud services, and software development.

 

Qualifications:

•       Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software development.

•       Educational background is not a criterion, but candidates should have self-studied computer science topics such as operating systems, networks, databases, computer systems, data structures & algorithms.

•       Proven experience in leading software development teams and projects.

•       Proficiency in designing and developing scalable and performant web applications.

•       Solid experience with front-end (JavaScript, Typescript, React, Next.js, Flutter) and back-end technologies (Python, Flask, FastAPI).

•       Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL), RESTful APIs, microservices, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

•       Excellent problem-solving.

 

Optional Skills:

•       Experience in Machine Learning coding and familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow).

•       Understanding of MLOps practices, including automated testing, deployment, and monitoring of ML models.
