RIDI is looking for a highly motivated individual to help us review and quality check English translations of Korean web novels. If you are a fan of Korean web novels and webcomics and are passionate about localizing such content for readers across the globe, we look forward to your application!

Job Description

• Quality checking the English translations of Korean web novels
• Compare source and target text to catch mistranslations and context-based issues
• Proofread for typos, punctuation, and grammar errors
• Correct continuity issues (character names, plot points, spelling, etc.)

Qualifications

• Native-level English
• Fluent in Korean
• Solid grasp of American English grammar and punctuation rules

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in proofreading, editing, and translation (Korean to English)
• Creative writing skills
• Interest in web novels and/or webcomics

Additional Information

• Employment type & location: Remote freelance work
