RESPONSIBILITIES

Principal assignment or reason for existence

  • Assist GLBA/DSE Korea team in origination, execution and post execution management of transactions i.e. gathering up-to-date market information, making various client pitch materials including the ESG aspect, assisting the credit approval process, etc.
  • Assist GLBA/DSE Korea team for internal procedures i.e. various management and compliance reporting, etc.
  • Assist the ESG Champion of SG Seoul Branch for managing the ESG project pipeline and setting up the ESG strategy when necessary.

Main responsibilities

  • Credit approval process: Assist the team in producing good quality credit applications.
  • Research: Obtain and collect market/industry information and prepare analysis of market update (e.g. regular market news including any ESG-related topic)
  • Internal reporting: Support team for regular management and compliance reporting process
  • KYC process: Liaise with different internal department and assist the team in KYC process for GLBA/DSE Korea transactions, run sanctions, AML and reputational risk related screening.
  • Other: Support the team with administrative work when requested

PROFILE REQUIRED

  • Prior internship or work experience preferred 
  • Relevant academic background i.e. finance, economics, or business administration major preferred
  • Sound knowledge in basic corporate and investment banking, accounting and financial analysis
  • Strong interest in and knowledge of ESG/SDG 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Fluency in English is mandatory 
  • Reliable and cooperative with good team sprit 
  • Proactive and willing to accept challenges with strong commitment
