Job Description:

The Branch Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring timely, complete and accurate processing of relevant information, including performing all relevant controls within own area of responsibility. They undertake time critical, complex or regulated tasks and must ensure the timely escalation of operational, regulatory and other risks to the line manager and functional leads as appropriate. 

The Branch Operations Analyst may also be responsible for building and managing relationships with the front office and other internal and external parties at an appropriate level, in particular around the more time critical, complex or regulated tasks.

Position Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Run daily settlement process for Futures and Option with counterparties
• Day to day reconciliation of internal vs external system and balance check.
• Send confirmation and settlement e-mail to clients.
• Prepare GL Voucher & Input the journal details into SAP system
• Prompt respond to client inquiries and communicate with clients with knowledge about the supporting products
• Prompt and good reporting skills in due course
• Daily/ Monthly regulatory reporting
• Be responsible for the aspects of processing, settlement and client service

Experience/ Exposure

• Minimum 1 year of relevant business experience (Derivatives settlement experience preferred)
• Knowledge in Derivatives products market practices and regulations are preferred
• Good Team Player
• Good interpersonal skill
• Positive attitude under pressure
• Detail oriented and familiar to numbers.
• Self motivated
• Strong ownership of the business
• Integrity to deliver as promised
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Good usage of MS office program (Excel,Word) are recommendable.
• Fast Learning Capacity
