CCBSI (Corporate Client Banking and Specialized Industries) Credit Risk is part of Credit Risk function at JP Morgan that focuses on commercial bank clients of the bank. CCBSI Credit Risk works closely with CIB (Corporate and Investment Bank) Credit Risk team in Korea, covering Korea portfolios across CIB and CCBSI.  The team provides comprehensive credit risk analysis of clients covering industry, business & financial profile; as well as approvals on credit facilities & risk grades. 

As an Analyst in CCBSI credit you will serve as the Credit Officer for commercial bank clients in Korea.  Key responsibilities will include

• Proactively manage exposures on a portfolio of commercial bank clients;
• Prepare forward looking credit analysis, along with necessary financial modelling, to provide risk assessment views on both new transactions and for existing clients and their industries;
• Track market and industry developments and their impact on clients;
• Recommend and monitor internal credit ratings;
• Support senior team members with completing due diligence, structuring and documentation on new transactions;
• Interact with key stakeholders including client coverage and product bankers;
• Prepare and monitor various credit and regulatory reporting requirements

Minimum Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• At least one year experience gained in a credit risk or credit analysis role within commercial or corporate banking. Prior experience with local middle market names will be viewed favorably;
• Strong credit risk analysis skills covering both qualitative and quantitative analysis;
• Candidate must be fluent in Korean and English;
• Good understanding of products across debt markets and derivatives as well as related documentation;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Able to demonstrate good time management and clarity in thinking when dealing with multiple work streams in a fast paced environment;
• Ability to foster relationships and confidently interact with business lines and other internal stakeholders;
• Undergraduate degree or post graduate qualifications in accounting, business, finance or a quantitative related discipline
