The Legal Entity Controllers are responsible for various financial reporting functions for Korea Bank Branch. These financial reporting functions include such things as monthly LEC attestations, various monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and annual audited financial statements. Also, it oversight the integrity of the financial statements and regulatory reporting of bank branch and partners with the regional controllers to ensure that the Legal Entity Control Standards are applied consistently across the legal entities.

Key Accountabilities/Major Responsibilities

• Prepare regulatory returns of BOK, FSS such as Busines report, Derivative report including minimum reserve, Bank levy, remittance in & out etc.
• Head office closing monitoring by partnering with various regional teams such as product controllers, financial controllers, income attribution team.
• Manage non-USD earnings at month end with eliminating of exposures between the month end
• Local report control with local reporting adjustment
• Implement local reporting system development for new regulatory returns or internal project/change management
• Impact analysis / gap analysis for new regulations and product rollout/internal system development/re-engineering
• Perform adhoc activities related to Invoice and expense claims processing

Qualification

• Accounting / Finance background - with sound technical and business knowledge
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and strong problem solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Able to work under pressure with multiple deliverables given competing deadlines
• Relevant working experience in financial institutions is preferred, however fresh graduates can be considered
• Good team player

Education

• Degree in Accounting/ Finance or relevant discipline or qualified accountants

Language requirement

• Proficiency in English and Korean
