The Block Research Recruitment

1. We are looking both for interns (internship contract) and full-time (based on contracted work due to global team structure).
2. We are continuously looking for both interns and full-time Research Analysts. Currently, we are looking to fill about 2 more intern positions for summer/fall 2021. Full-time depends on specific candidates' qualifications.
3. All mentioned targets are ok. Some of our interns are PhDs, while some are only in the 2nd year of their undergraduate studies. For full-time, all mentioned targets are ok too (students, graduates, alumni).
4. For full-time, while not a hard requirement, we prefer 2-3 years of work experience.
5. It’s a continuous opening, hence, no hard closing date.

7. Our process is as follows: (1) CV screening, (2) Candidate Knowledge Test (crypto and finance knowledge), (3) Phone screening, (4) Candidate specific task, (5) Final interview/follow-up, (6) Hire decision

9. Since we are a global team, we communicate via e-mail and use Google Meet for calls.

Intern pay is competitive and depends on candidates' skills and experiences. For reference, our last undergraduate intern (2nd year) was paid 15 U.S. Dollars/hour, while our last Ph.D. intern was paid 40 U.S. Dollars/hour.

Full-time Research Analysts start, depending on candidates' skills and experiences, usually between 65,000 U.S. Dollars to 75,000 U.S. Dollars per year. However, the range is flexible and up to 120,000 U.S. Dollars per year is possible, depending on candidates' skills and experiences.
