BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING INTERN

As featured in the Bangkok Post, CNBC or Morning Post, Yindii is a fast-growing startup on a mission to reduce food waste in Korea. Our app connects restaurants, hotels, bakeries and

supermarkets with surplus food to consumers at discounted prices. More than an App, Yindii is starting a national movement against food waste that you can join. Your mission:

Yindii is looking for an energetic and self-motivated Sales & Marketing Intern to join a

growing startup fighting for a better planet. Your work will include preparing promotional presentations, building prospect databases in CRM and transforming leads into partners.
 

In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should have excellent multitasking and organizational

abilities. The successful candidate will also have in-depth knowledge of sales techniques and love

meeting new people and solving their problems.

 

Responsibilities:

• Research and generate lists of potential customers in selected markets

• Contact, visit, call potential partners, Sign deals, Maintain sales records

• Provide input on customer briefs, presentations, and sales literature

• Help develop client relationships and retain existing accounts

• Assist in evaluating new partnership opportunities

• Learn and apply sales techniques

• Support marketing team with localized content creation, digital and influencer marketing

 

Requirements:

• Sales, Advertising, Marketing, or Business major

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English & Korean

• Problem-solving, curious, and persevering personality

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

• Experience with PowerPoint, Canva, Word, and Excel preferred.

• Must have a passion for social and environmental causes.
