About the business division As part of the Investment Bank, the Capital Markets business is a specialist product coverage area that operates as a partner between Corporate Finance industry coverage areas and Fixed Income & Currencies to provide clients with an array of capital raising services. Our clients include financial institutions, governments, government agencies and large corporates.
We advise on innovative cross-border and regional transactions in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific. Capital Markets is comprised of four product areas: Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Leveraged Debt Capital Markets (LDCM) and Strategic Equity Transactions Group (SETG).
About the role The Capital Markets program is made up of four key business lines: Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Leveraged Debt Capital Markets (LDCM) and the Strategic Equity Transactions Group (SETG). The desks provide clients advice on raising capital mainly through Debt Capital Markets product for growth or refinancing needs of Issuers.
The role will focus on the origination and execution of Debt Capital Markets transactions across an array of currencies. This role will require a close partnership with Origination and Advisory industry coverage areas and will also see you working closely with a broad range of product partners.

Even though good levels of numeracy are important for some roles, you won’t necessarily need a formal mathematical or financial background.
